About Sailcargo

Sailcargo provides zero emission shipping services, it pays fair wages and is built using regenerative materials. It's first flagship, Ceiba, is under construction in Costa Rica; it will be powered by wind and 100% renewable energy. Additionally, Sailcargo starts its first cargo service in 2023 with its latest acquisition of Vega, a 100 year old vessel shipping organic coffee from Colombia to New Jersey. Sailcargo compensates its wood use for the construction of Ceiba through reforestation efforts, it develops a low-income area in Costa Rica and puts extra effort to involve disadvantaged people.
